Funding entity Endesa
The objective of this project is the integration of two information systems developped for the Planning Department of the Spanish electrical utility Endesa during 2002. The first one was developped for the realisation and analysis of the economic forecasts, and the second one for the analysis and monitoring of real economic and energetic outcomes. Both systems have been built using a same multidimensional data model, although implemented with the traditional relational Oracle server with a layer of PLSQL procedures. This integration also includes new developpments to improve data access, manipulation and presentation.
